This weekend, the International OCD Foundation is excited to present the 2022 Online OCD Camp. This will be a two-day virtual event for kids and teens with OCD, and their families!
This online camp was created especially for youth between the ages of 6 and 17. It will feature two days of interactive sessions and activities for three age groups. In addition, the program will include sessions for parents/guardians and opportunities for fun and socialization with other families.
There are four tracks to choose from:
- Kids (suggested ages 6–11) & Families: Meet other kids with OCD, and have fun creating art and participating in group activities! OCD can sometimes be scary, but learn how you are braver than you think! We invite kids and parents/guardians to experience this time together as a family.
- Middle Schoolers (suggested ages 12–14): Meet other middle schoolers with OCD, and have fun with interactive group activities, journaling, and more! Learn skills (like ERP) that will give you the courage to face your OCD at school and with friends.
- Teens (suggested ages 15–17): Hear from other teens with OCD and learn skills (like advanced ERP) from a variety of therapists. We’ll explore identity and OCD, find courage to face OCD through living our values, and have fun while we’re at it!
- Parents/Guardians: Experience a sense of connection and community while meeting other parents of children with OCD and related disorders. We’ll teach you the basics about how OCD seeks accommodations, motivating your child towards treatment goals, and allow for Q&A with field experts.
